Jennie Clements Young

I think of Jennie very often and think of the good times we had together. I will never stop remembering her.

You may not remember, John, that my mother, Fern Duver, provided child care for you when you were quite young and lived on 6th St in Lawrence. Jennie was my dear friend. We attended a lot of enjoyable events when she lived in Lawrence and shopping was one of them. She was a member of the Lawrence Region Men & Women Widows' Group and was a valued member. Her vibrant, caring and fun loving nature was great to be around. I am so thankful I knew her. She did love to invite people over for dinner and she was a very good cook. I remember her singing the old tunes and her love of dance. She will be missed. My condolences to the...
