Mrs. Jennifer Suzanne Boyd



Funeral services for Mrs. Jennifer Boyd will be at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 4, 2017 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Jena, La. with Rev. Reid Terry officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Jena, La. under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home. The family requests that visitation be observed on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Jena.



Mrs. Boyd 46, of Trout, was born on December 29, 1970 and passed from this life on Thursday, May 1, 2017 at Hardtner Medical Center in Urania, La.



Those left to cherish in her memory include her sons, Marcus Kyle Boyd and wife Josilyn of Pollock, Caden McCann of Trout, daughter, Lindsey Kleinpeter and husband Scott of Sulphur, father, Charles Aubrey Thiels and wife Linda of Alexandria, brother, Scott Thiels and wife Pepper of Pineville, sister, Connie McCann and husband Joey of Trout, grandchildren, Zayne, Riley, Ryanne, Braelyn, and nieces and nephews.


She is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Ann Doughty Thiels, son, Justin Craig Boyd, brother, Charles Nathan Thiels.


Serving as pallbearers will be Ethan McCann, Cody McCann, Donnie Hudnall, Marcus Kyle Boyd, Scott Thiels, Scott Kleinpeter.


Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Doughty and Stephen Doughty.
