"What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch. We may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but...

My dearest Jennifer,
As the time ticks slowly by without you by my side, it saddens me to know I will never hear you laugh again; I will never get to see you smile again; I will never get to hold you again. You were one of a kind, magical in your own ways! May God hold you in his embrace and love you.

After reading the respectful messages on this site, it's clear that my niece, Jennifer, had a very positive influence on those who knew her. So tragic that she died so young.

What I remember about Jennifer: she was SMART, and she was ruthlessly funny. Even when we were so young, she was scathingly funny, outrageous. I never knew what she would say next; it was such great fun following her around. I am so very sorry for your loss.
