IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, THE FAMILY PREFERS MEMORIALS BE GIVEN. Jennifer Lynne Johnson, daughter of Rick & Betsy (Nelsen) Johnson was born April 9,1986 in Audubon, Iowa. She passed away Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the age of 26 - doing what she loved - swimming in the Iowa Great Lakes. Jen began her education as a Lincoln Central Hawk in Gruver, Iowa and graduated as an Estherville-Lincoln Central Midget in 2004. She attended Xenon International School of Hair Design in Omaha, NE - obtaining her Cosmetology License in the State of Iowa in March 2007. Jen loved being a stylist, working at BomBazi Salon in Arnolds Park, IA with Tammy & Linda. Left to cherish Jennifer's memory are her parents, sisters Stephanie Johnson of Bloomington, MN - and Samantha Johnson, Estherville, Iowa and her nephew, Landon Johnson. Maternal Family: Grandparents: Darrell & Susan (Wampfler) Nelsen, Audubon, IA - Uncle Darrell Nelsen, Jr. of Omaha, NE, Aunt Lisa Nelsen of Des Moines, IA and their children, Darrell Nelsen, III and Darrick Nelsen of Des Moines, IA ~ Jake & Abigail (Nelsen) Hommer and son, Gabe of Fort Campbell, KY -- Uncle Donald & Aunt Christy Nelsen of Brayton, IA and their children - David & Ellie Nelsen. Paternal Family: Grandparents: Jerry & Elizabeth (Pettiecord) Johnson of Curlew, IA and Uncle Rob & Aunt April Johnson with daughter, McKayla, all of Curlew, IA. The brown eyed girl known for her brilliant smile and strong presence will be missed by a long list of loving friends. "Some people come into our lives and quickly go.
