Curran-Jones Funeral Home - West Springfield Obituary

Jennifer L. Reardon, 38, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday at Baystate Medical Center, surrounded by her family.  She was born and raised in Springfield and graduated from Cathedral High School in 1999.  She worked as an Office Manager for Baystate Medical Neurosurgery for 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family at many of their get togethers.  Family was her world! If there was a party to plan she had to be involved.  Her children were her world and she dedicated herself to their happiness.  There will never be a day that goes by that she is not thought of.  She touched every person she met in some sort of way. She leaves behind her two children, Hailey and Nathan Dashnaw, her life partner Jason Dashnaw, her mother and stepdad Doris and Brian Labreque, her father and stepmom William and Alice Reardon, her sister Katie and her husband Nathan Dandurand and their two children, a stepsister, stepbrother and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be private.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations for her children may be made payable to: “Benefit account for Jennifer’s children”. Please mail to Greater Springfield Credit Union, 1030 Wilbraham Rd., Springfield, MA 01109. (413) 782-3161. For more information or to make online condolences please go to curranjones.com.

Not sure what to say?

I don´t think Jen ever knew how important she was to all of us. She was much more than a mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a granddaughter, an aunt, a niece, a cousin and a friend. She was the person you would look for in the corner of a crowded room, she would be the person to call when you needed advice, or just to vent. She was dependable, caring and trustworthy. She was thoughtful and selfless and generous. But she was stubborn, oh she was stubborn. Above all else she loved being...

Bill, Doris & Katie,
Our deepest regrets to all of you & the rest of our family. Please know that all of our hearts are heavy in learning of her passing. Also know that, although Jen is no longer here with us, that Jennifer’s spirit will live on in our hearts!
Our most sincere condolences.
