To Jen's family: You have our belated sympathy on the passing of your beloved Jennifer. Jen was a gifted and compassionate colleague with me at Fort Leonard Wood. I remember her as a focused leader during periods of crisis. And she is fondly remembered by my wife (Holly) for the care and support she gave her during the pregnancy and delivery of our 4th child. You should be deservedly proud of the Army physician and the kind person she was towards those she cared for.

It is with great sadness that I bear my condolences to the family. Jen will be truly missed. She was a great soccer teammate and friend. She was often soft spoken and had a majestic smile. May God bless you and keep you within His arms. We miss you!

We are so sad to hear about Jen. Our daughter, Patrice Rutland, played soccer with her on Eastern Pennsylvania Soccer team when they were teenagers. Jen was a great athlete, and a very nice person.

Dr. Strong delivered our sweet girl at Fort Leavenworth in March 2006. Many memories and many prayers for her loved ones.

I just learned of Jen's passing. I didn't know her as a doctor, but as a soccer teammate in Buckingham, PA. We played together from age 14 until we went off to college. Jen was clearly the most talented player on our team, but was very humble about it. Cool to learn that she became a doctor! Good for her! My thoughts & prayers go out to her family. I just found out through Dr. Gosser of Dr. Strong's passing and it breaks my heart. I saw her in 2006 while we were stationed at Fort Leonard Wood. She helped bring my daughter into this world and I will always be grateful for that.
