Jenny Lou Gibbs, age 73, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023 in the wonderful care of the staff at the Bud and Donna Somers Hospice House in Sebring, Florida. The daughter of Elwood B. and Betty Jean (Blakenship) Gibbs. She was born on August 25, 1950 in Ashland, Kentucky. She enjoyed working most of her career as a legal office manager for James W. Kelly and helped her son manage and run his gutter business after retiring. She attended Bible Fellowship Church and has been a resident of Sebring for 38 years, having come from Kentucky. Jenny wore many crowns including Miss Posture” and  “Miss Ashland, Kentucky. Jenny  is survived by her loving children – Joe Daniel Conley and Danielle Jean Walkup (Joel). Siblings – Rocky, Mark, Kathy, and Myra. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren – Jay David and Julianna Jo Walkup. She was preceded in death by her parents and twin sister – Jetta. A graveside service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Avon Park, with Pastor Todd Patterson to officiate. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Good Shepherd Hospice or Bible Fellowship Church.

I'm so sorry for the families loss. I'm sorry I missed the funeral, I just seen where she just had passed. I have always admired Jenny. I thought she was a very beautiful woman. She had helped me on many occasions & I will never forget her always going above & beyond to be as helpful & giving of herself. Many prayers to the family. Love & will always miss you Jenny.

So saddened to hear about the death of my friend Jenny. She was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever known. Rest in paradise.

I will never forget her angelic voice singing Chattanooga chuchu on the radio with her sister. Always such a kind person. My condolences to the family

I was saddened to hear about Jenny passing. I knew her in high school where we were cheerleaders together for years--so many good memories. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

So sorry to hear about longtime neighbor and friend. Probably every boy in Westwood had a crush on Jenny including myself. Prayers for her family.
