Not sure what to say?

I will forever remember Jerry as a dear friend. I had the honor of training him when he came to Alabama Power as a warehouseman under Mr. Selby. We developed a kinship quickly because both of our names was the same, only mine was spelled with a G and his with a J. We worked together again on the tree crew as our careers began to progress. - The Von Hollen family

Mr. Bakane was always wonderful each time I saw him at the credit union. He will be truly missed.

Nothing says Here is a life well-lived better than the loving memories of family and friends when that life on this earth has ended. We remember Jerry fondly from the days of our childhood at Woodrow Wilson and Ensley High. Our heart-felt condolences go out to Sherry and Jerry's many friends and loved ones.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

My heart is thrilled to know of the man he became, and the family man he was to Sherry and their girls. He was one of the good guys, and I know he will be...

Joe and Kristi Serio

We are sorry to hear about Jerry. We saw Jerry and his family on the way to Gulf Shores for Labor Day Weekend. Joe and Jerry were surprised to see each other at a gas station on the side of Highway 65.
We will keep the Bakane Family in our prayers
