Not sure what to say?

Our condolences to Jerry's family. He was a good man with a great love of people, and a fine teacher. I'm grateful to "Brother Jo," as we called him at the Boise Institute. He was instrumental in my decision to be baptized way back then. Ron Woods, married to Zina Peterson, another admirer of Brother Jo.

We were both blessed by Brother Johansen's lessons and life and love at the BJC Institute. Just reading the lovely write-up brought back wonderful memories of 1961-1963. We send our condolences to your family. fondly, Ann Taylor & Daryl K. Hobson, formerly of Boise; now of South Jordan UT; currently in Maputo, Mozambique

Dear Johansen family, I am saddened to hear of the passing of Brother Jo, as we called him back in the old BJC Institute of Religion days. He has always had a special place in my heart. I learned many great life lessons from him. Until we all meet again, Randy Taylor - formerly of Boise.

We have only been friends and neighbors for a short time, but in that time we have grown to love Jerry and Lenore tremendously. You have taught us so much and will continue to teach and inspire us. We are truly saddened and will miss Jerry dearly. Much love to all his family. Tom and Susan Lynch and Family

Alan, Christy and family, We are so sorry to hear of your Father's passing. We know he was a great man with an amazing posterity. May your knowledge of the Gospel and your memories bring you comfort. We love you.
