Jerald Lion

We have fond memories of a summer I spent as a pastoral intern with Jerry and Donna in East Grand Forks. Jan and I would like to express our sincere condolences to you Donna and to your children in your loss. Jerry was a very encouraging mentor to me on my first summer assignment. Dan Roeda

I am so saddened to hear this. Jerry was our pastor in Kennewick and officiated at my wedding. He touched my heart so much with his wisdom and absolute genuine kindness. He was one in a million. He was incredible when my sister´s husband died tragically. I don´t know how we could have done it without his support. We had moved away and loved it when he came to visit us in Seattle. I am so grateful I knew him and he made a huge impact in my life. Prayers for his family as they grieve him.

Dear Lion family (Donna, Ben, Peter, and Anna), Jerry Lion was our pastor here in Kennewick for many years and walked with us through some hard times in our CRC church here. Jerry was a role model Christian man for me as he demonstrated love and compassion towards the church and people every day. He often did not get credit for being so Christ-like in his actions and beliefs. He loved his family, his church, and God and it was clear for all to see that. Jerry was my beloved Sem classmate and friend. He promised to be only a phone call away and that promise was faithfully kept. We were preaching partners which was a special and super helpful relationship. Jerry, you are loved and missed. Carolyn
