I worked with Jerry at IRS. What a pleasure. He is well described in the obituary. His sense of humor was the best. One day we were talking about an old, beat up car he was driving. He described his recent conversation with an auto service guy who had fixed something on it, to keep it going. The guy told him the car needed an oil change. Jerry told him the oil change would cost more than the car was worth.
