Around 1970, my husband and I had recently come to Sacramento, Ca. and I worked for Hintons, your neighbors and they introduced me to your mother, she wanted someone to clean her house. There I met your dad when he happened to be home from his PanAM flights. Sometimes came home while I was there, he changed quickly and out in the garden to work! I thought about you children many times when driving by the property. My condolences your dad was indeed a wonderful man!

The first time I met Jerry I asked him what part of NC he was from. He said a little place you probably never heard of Star. I laughed and said I'm from Troy which is only a few miles from Star. Jerry was always so nice and polite and helpful. I loved watching him on the dance floor. He is very missed at the Warwick Moose lodge.
