Not sure what to say?

Sending blessings and healing to Jere's family and i feel so blessed to have known JB! I loved his laughter and admired his strength. He choose to live his life on his terms and not the illness'. Bill and I will miss our summer time hikes, sits and conversations in YNP. You will be sorely missed my friend!

I am so sorry for you loss. I pray you will feel God's comfort and His peace. I lost my brother in 2009.

To the families of Jere, I would like to express my deepest sympathy at the passing of such a wonderful person. Jere dealt with his illness quietly, optimistically, and with very little complaining. When my father was faced with the same illness, Jere gave him suggestions, support, and even talked with my parents on the phone. We had many good times in Yellowstone, visiting while we waited for a big geyser to erupt or chatting over a campfire while sharing a good meal. Jere's positive...

I count myself lucky to have been a friend of Jere in high school, and also roommates for a couple of semesters at LSU. In 1969, Jere was best man at my wedding. He gave me and my wife the greatest wedding present I have ever seen... a small sculpture which we cherish to this day.

I went to Fair Park with Jere and we lived in the same neighborhood in Shreveport. Sorry to hear of his passing.

I went to high school weigh Jere and remember him as a very sweet and cute boy. So glad he had such a good life and very sad he is gone so soon. My heartfelt sympathies to all of Jere's family.. God bless you!

We are so sorry for your loss. May God keep fast hold of you with his right hand during this difficult time.

I went to Fair Park High in Shreveport with Jere. He was a great friend. He lived near Gene Youngblood on Lakeshore Drive. I will miss him.

So many memories of school days. Rest in peace, my friend.
