Not sure what to say?

As a Boca Ciega HS graduate, two years behind Jere, I knew him while he and parents lived at the Morgan Cottages on Treasure Island Florida. We played basketball together with Jack and Gordon MacPhail. Sorry to learn of his passing. He was well-liked and respected. Rest in peace, Jere.

What an amazing man...condolences to all who knew his resilient spirit and cared! I am blessed to have had him be a part of my life (Boca Ciega HS.) No matter the wonderful or dark times, he was always a true friend. Blessed be.

Jere and I were friends during my short period in St. Petersburg. He, Dwight, John D. and I spent many good times together. Found the obituary when looking for one of his books. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

What an eloquently written tribute for such a brilliant and accomplished Man. My sincere condolences.

In loving memory of a childhood friend of mine. Sending my thoughts and prayers to Linda and family and to Jere´s many friends. He truly will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him!

What a wonderfully accomplished & fun guy. Jere will be missed by all the great friends he made along the road of life...rest in peace, Jere.

Sending "thoughts" and "prayers" to the Fishback Family for the loss of your precious loved one, Jere, and pray God gives you comfort, peace and strength.

I was lucky enough to grow up 1 door down from Jere (and Linda)... a tomboy by necessity (!)there were only boys in the neighborhood until jr high. I remember playing games with Jere but also putting on neighborhood "plays" in the Fishback garage! Although time and distance happens in life, I always think back on our childhood as fun (and safe). Just his existence on earth will be missed
