Not sure what to say?

I had Miss Taylor for junior English in Midland and enjoyed her class and her wit. She taught and inspired us to write creatively. She would ask a question of the class, pause and then say, " How many people know the answer ? Pause, How many people don't know the answer ? Pause. How many people don't care ? I can hear her say that and it still makes me laugh today.
Nice to hear of her interesting career.
May she rest in peace.

Jerelyn Taylor was the most influential teacher of my entire life and the most beloved. She had a way of inspiring and motivating her students to do their very best. I lived for her English classes every day of my sophomore and junior years at Richardson High School. (I was very blessed to have her as my teacher both years!) What a wonderful friend Jerelyn was. We started first grade together and continued through college. Precious memories of growing up together in Athens. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.

How happy Jerelyn must be to join June,Ben and her parents
in Heaven tonight. I will forever cherish the happy memories I had with her. She was my friend since first grade.our group of friends stayed close to the end.

May I offer my deepest condolences to the family and friends. Death at any age is difficult. May you find comfort from these words: From the power of the Grave I will redeem them; From death I will recover them. Where are your stings, O Death? You can be sure these words will come true because God cannot lie.

"Miss Taylor" was the teacher who made the biggest difference in my life. I shall be forever grateful to her for her teaching and support in 1958-1959. And thank you Nancy and Glee (Miss Taylor would not have approved of that "and,") for bringing her back into our lives in 2010, letting us know where she was and how to get in touch with her.
