Jeremiah "Jerry" Fazioli

Jeremiah "Jerry" Fazioli, 95, of Stafford Springs, loving husband of the late Eileen (Mahoney) Fazioli, passed away Sunday, (August 18, 2002) at Blair Manor, Enfield. Born July 10, 1907 in Middletown, a son of the late Vincenzo and Philomena Fazioli, he had resided in Hartford for most of his life prior to moving to Stafford Springs last year. Mr. Fazioli was a graduate of Yale University, Class of 1931, and was employed as a Mechanical Engineer for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, East Hartford, for several years, retiring in 1972. He is survived by three daughters, Anne Bean of Clinton, Geraldine Kasten of Wethersfield, and Eileen Fuller and her husband Bruce Cartier of Stafford Springs; two sisters, Rose Moylan of Simsbury and Mary Ann Fazioli of West Hartford; three grandchildren, Amy Robbins of Niantic, Douglas Robbins of Tampa, FL, and Lawrence Kasten and his wife Jenifer of Scottsdale, AZ; a great grandson, Joshua Quinn Kasten; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his beloved wife and parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Domenick Fazioli; and two sisters, Christine Gelormino and Catherine Reed. Funeral service will be Wednesday, August 21, at 9:15 a.m. from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, Hartford. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
