Not sure what to say?

Just a line to say still think of you Brother. Rest easy

Jere, I think of you often and miss you terribly. I never thought there was a forum to where I could see all the others who knew and loved you where they've shared their feelings and rememberance through the years; thank you everyone for that. Never forget that Jere was a hero, husband, son and brother that left this world far too early. Thinking of you always brother.

Rest easy Brother.

Jeremiah C. Hughes was witty, resourceful, and kind. He had an impressive collection of knives and tools. He genuinely cared for serving this country. Being a good soldier was all he wanted to do. And he was indeed a great soldier, a better soldier than I ever was. He was brave. He was a good man. He was my friend. Rest in peace Hughes. You are missed, buddy.

Thinking about you today, my Gimlet Brother...

My son Dylan was with Jeremiah in Iraq. He was near Jeremiah at the time of the accident, He lost a part of himself with the loss of his friend. I would like to thank Jeremiah for looking out for my son during the war.Your kindness will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace.

I miss you. I hope you're at peace. I'm still trying to take care of Ang for you. I told you I would.

Hey Hughes:

It's been five years since you passed away. I still can't believe that you are gone. You are missed buddy.

I was just thinking about you, Jere, complete with a giggle and a tear. I wish I could sit up drinking coffee one more time with you, tossing back and forth some Monty Python quotes...
