Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to have finally caught up with Jedd only to find him gone from us. He is part of all of the best of my college memories. Last ditch theater set building sessions that he always made fun. Trips with the gang afterwards to some restaurant or other, shooting paper straw wrappers at each other in the parking lot. Oh, what a shock, and what a loss. I had lost touch with Jed (as he was known back then), and looked him up, only to find this obituary.
Jed was troubled even long ago, but never let that interfere with caring and doing for the people around him. My sympathy and condolences to those who were close to him.

I am so sorry for your loss. Please allow the fondest memories shared with your loved one to be a soothing blanket over your heart. Take comfort in our Heavenly Father who is our Rock & Stronghold in times of grief. He is our shield and the God of refuge. Psalms 18:2

My sympathy goes out to the family during your time of grief. May God's loving-kindness comfort you and help you through this difficult time. (Psalm 119:50, 76) ~DS

He was thoughtful, friendly, a good person to have a serious discussion with who never ridiculed a less-knowledgeable person's ideas. Being sensitive to the fact that money was very tight for me as a freshman, he took me along as an assistant on a job splitting firewood for a resident of Philadelphia's Main Line. I remember well the crisp Fall day in...
