Jeremy was a great soldier and an uplifting presence. He could make you run faster, work harder, think more clearly, and then laugh until your stomach hurt. I have had the pleasure of working with many bright and exceptional people in the Army and in my subsequent career as a scientist, but Jeremy will always be one of the most fascinating people I have ever known. The world and America are made poorer by his passing.

Please accept my deepest sympathy. I have carried around his obituary for the last several months in a book I have been reading. I was Jeremy's teacher in elementary school. It was at Mt. Shadows Elementary. I remember your girls as well. I am so proud of the man Jeremy was and the contribution he made to our country and to so many lives. I always wonder what became of the many lives I have touched and at this time I am so deepened with sorrow for your lose.

I just was notified by a mutual friend of Jeremy's passing and we are both stunned and deeply saddened. I served with Jeremy in D Co. 1-504 at Fort Bragg and in Kosovo and had stayed in contact ever since. He was one of the most gifted and caring people I've ever known. I want to pass along my deepest sympathy to his family. He will be missed.

Cheyla, Quiera and the Clawson family: Though I only met Jeremy very briefly, his love of family and country inspired me. He was a man that knew what his mission in life really was, and he succeeded on all fronts. I cannot begin to understand your pain, or the depth of your loss. I do think of you and pray for you often. I wished I could have been with you in Wichita to help celebrate his life. I did offer my own tribute to him on that day. God Bless you all. I was shocked and saddened to hear that Jeremy had passed away. My prayers go out to the family, I remember Jeremy when he was a cute boy growing up in Arizona, he was full of energy and always had a smile on his face. I am so sorry.

To Jermey's family,
Jeremy will be greatly missed. This will be a hard time, however remember that you have friends and people that the family may have not meet but that knew Jeremy from school that are praying for you each day through out this time. Jeremy was a great guy in school and touched the hearts of everyone he knew. My heart goes out to all of you and you will all be in my prayers.
