Jeremy Dewayne Collier

Jeremy Dewayne Collier, 36, of 139 Silvery Lane, died Tuesday, August 12, 2008. Born October 29, 1971, in Eldorado, IL, he was the son of Kendall Collier of Liberty and Martha Guy of Spartanburg. He was sales manager for Southern Motor Sports and a member of Golden Creek Baptist Church of Liberty. Surviving in addition to his parents is his wife, Melissa Creel Collier; three daughters, Megan Collier of Six Mile, Stephanie Staggs and Jessica McKenzie, both of Mississippi; a son, Blake McKenzie of Mississippi; two brothers, Franklin Collier of Henderson, KY, and Michael Collier of Gaffney; a step-brother, Jeff Guy of Chesnee; a step-sister, Julie Taylor of Gresham, SC; and his maternal grandmother, Bonita Potts of Golconda, IL. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday, August 14, 2008, at Floyd�s Boiling Springs Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 15, 2008, at Floyd�s Boiling Springs Chapel conducted by the Rev. Mark A. Spearman and the Rev. Dr. Dennis Carter. Entombment will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Megan Collier Trust Fund, c/o First Citizens Bank, P. O. Box 208, Liberty, SC 29657.
