Please accept my deepest and most sincere condolences, I just found out today. Jeremy was a special person. He was my Company Commander in 2007 1/4 Bravo Co. Very few times in life do we come across people like Jeremy. He was the consummate Professional as a Marine, but he did things his way. As a leader, Bravo Company would follow him to Hell and back no questions. He was only on this earth for a short time, but he made it count! Semper Fi Bravo Six and God Bless.

Yesterday, while reading Jeremy’s Grandfather’s obituary, I learned that Jeremy was gone from this world. I taught Physics at the U. S. Naval Academy and lived there with my wife Karen and two sons Baden and Luke. I was one of three officers on the Service Selection Board that approved Jeremy to become a Marine. We really didn’t have to select him, he had selected Marines long before, and there was nothing we could do about it. On all those boards reviewing all those candidates, Jeremy...

Jeremy was the most fearless man I have ever met. I remember Jeremy at the Cliffs of Moher...everyone was afraid to get close to the edge except Jeremy. Jeremy just stood at the very edge looking over the 700 foot drop-off without an ounce of fear. He lived the rest of his life the same way and truly fulfilled the New Hampshire motto "Live Free or Die" to its fullest. My sincerest condolences to his family. I was part of the color guard today that laid this amazing man to rest at Arlington he is a true hero and an Idol for all Marines to look up to hes done so many great things. rest in peace sir.
