Jeremy Patrick Hallock, 32, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025, at his home in Slidell, Louisiana, surrounded by family and loved ones during his final moments.


Jeremy was born on December 3, 1992, in Slidell, where he lived his entire life. He attended Northshore High School and was an avid fan of the New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans. He enjoyed sitting on his back patio with a cup of coffee and his beloved dog Pugsley. He will be lovingly remembered for his devotion to family and friends, his humor, and his beautiful smile.


He is survived by his daughter Layla and her sister Gabriella; his father Peter (Je’anne Kemp) Hallock and mother Katie (Michael) Havert of Slidell; his brother Tyler Hallock (Becka Plautz) of Denver, Colorado; his sisters Hannah and Michaela Havert of Slidell; his maternal grandparents Sebastian Arroyo and Gladys de Arroyo of Ocú, Panama; grandmother Evelyn Havert of Slidell; and his devoted companion Hannah DeBram of Slidell.


Funeral services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell, Louisiana, on Thursday, July 3, 2025.


Private visitation for family members will begin at 11:00 a.m. Friends are invited to a public viewing from 11:30-1:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 1:00pm.


Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Slidell.


The family would like to thank everyone for the prayers, support, meals, and love shown to Jeremy during his courageous fight against cancer, to include: Dr. Marcus Ware and Dr. Carolyn Goldin at the Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Center in New Orleans, Louisiana; Nurse Jamie and the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice and Palliative Care in Covington, Louisiana; Northshore Rehabilitation Hospital in Lacombe, Louisiana; Patrick and Erica Heim and Debbie Jallans.

I will miss you always Jeremy. Your beautiful smile, wit, gentle soul, and love for life. I was blessed to watch you mature into a loving and devoted father. You touched the lives of all the family and friends who new you. There are no words to express the heart breaking loss we all feel. May you rest in eternal peace. Until we meet again.

He was born on Dec. 03. My mother was born on Dec. 03. His funeral is on July 03.
My 60th wedding anniversary is on July 03. I will have to do some thinking about those coincidences.

So sad! I only know Jeremy from working at Whiskey with my daughter. He had a very kind heart. He was always looking out for her. I am sending prayers, peace and comfort for the family and friends. May God be with you thru this trying time
