Not sure what to say?

Hey brother. Been 21 years today. I will never forget that day and I will never forget your leadership and dedication to our country. You will never be forgotten. Until Valhalla brother

I first met SSG Horton Iraq, during OIF 1. I met him in PTs and we just started talking like normal people. Keep in mind I was PV2. I was calling him man and dude (lol) he didn't once correct me. I'll always remember that first interaction with him. I was blown away when I found out about him. He was killed after our 3 month extension which made it even worse. RIP brother and I'll always remember that moment and you. Fly high brother.

Happy birthday brother. You made me a better person. I know your jumping with your dog in Heaven...

Jeremy was truly a wonderful person. I met him my first day in Germany. We often spoke about mini coopers, his dog and him being airborn. I remember doing the 12 miler for the EIB. I came in second and from that day on, he always reminded me that I could do anything. He inspired me to be a better soldier and person. I still think of him ofter. I miss him.

To the family Horton family . I would like to send my condolence to all you on the anniversary of his passing. I was in the vehicle when we was hit by IED. SSG Jeremy Horton will never be forgotten.

Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and also let the Horton Family know that we recently made a small donation to the American Red Cross-Erie County in honor of Jeremy R. Horton US Army Staff Sergeant. We recognize that this is a humble tribute, but we wanted you to know that it is heartfelt and made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals in the youth hockey community and beyond. We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you...

I did not know Jeremy but am grateful to him for his service and sacrifice for our country. God Bless.
