PENACOOK – Jeremy Jon Scott,  38, beloved husband of Deann (Eldridge) Scott, passed unexpectantly in his sleep Sunday, April 23, 2017.

He was born in Coquille, Ore. the eldest son of John L. Scott of Skagway, Alaska and Deborah (Edwards) Swinson of Spokane Valley, Wash.

He was a Veteran of the United States Navy, brother to all aboard the USS San Juan SSN 751.

Jeremy was employed as a Gauge Calibration Technician for Lonza Biologics. He was enrolled at SNHU pursuing a degree in IT Management.

Jeremy loved to travel and spent most of his younger life travelling the United States, he especially loved Texas.  Once he joined the Navy, the world was his playground.

In addition to his passion for travel, Jeremy enjoyed gardening in his greenhouse, building things with his hands, fencing, boxing, fishing, anything and everything to do with firearms, old and new. He enjoyed watching old martial arts movies, even the ones without subtitles!  He enjoyed kayaking with his wife and friends, and especially enjoyed canoeing and camping with the best of friends on the Saco River in Maine.

Jeremy was the kind of person that one would not simply forget.  Whether that be through his robust, larger than life itself, laugh, wittiness, poetic vernacular or his unapologetic outspokenness that would never trump his deep compassion, love and loyalty for his family or friends.  In his own words,  ""I'm a grown-ass man and I can do what I want"".  And he did just that!

In addition to his wife and parents he is survived by his brother, Jared and his wife, Christa Scott and their children, Bryce, Mesah and Avery; sisters, Audrey and Sally Swinson; grandfather, Ernest Edwards; stepmother, Nora (Lele) Scott; stepfather, Edward Swinson; his wife's son, Ricky and his wife, Kristine Fife and their son, Spencer; aunts and uncles, Jeffrey and Myrna Edwards, Mark and Mechelle Guidry and Kristy Edwards; cousins, Jessica Edwards, Marla Gilmete, Marcie Thom and Patrick Campbell; and mother and father-in-law, Lucy and William Sargent of Grafton.

Jeremy was predeceased by his beloved grandmother, Sally Edwards; and his nephew, Jayson Nelson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, or a Veterans organization of your choice.

And Odin sent the Valkyries to bring his warrior home to Valhalla.
