Jerenia Rucker

I worked at Community Hospital from 1984-1993. Mrs. Rucker was a great nurse and supervisor. I have fond memories of her. Prayers for her family

Mrs. Rucker was a great nursing supervisor and very professional. One night I was sitting with a patient that having delirium tremors from alcohol withdrawal. I was young, scared, and not sure what to do. She came in the room talked to the man to calm him. Then spoke to me. She was firm and compassionate with both of us. I felt more in control after she left. Decades later and I still respect his she handled that! My condolences to her family.

I had so much respect for Jerenia! A compassionate nurse, sensible administrator, and all-around wonderful human! RIH dear lady.

Jerenia was a pillar at Community Hospital. She was a nursing supervisor when I started in 1982 and helped orient me to supervision 10 years later. Jerenia was firm, but kind and well respected by nursing staff. I will remember her fondly
