Jerilyn (“Jeri”) Massey Lamb of Murfreesboro, TN passed into eternal life on January 28, 2018. Her vivacious spirit is carried on by her soulmate and loving husband of twenty-two years, Bob Lamb; 4 children: Ashley Shearin Meade (Jim), Megan Shearin Jones (Jason), Ashley Lamb Ernst (Austin), Wesley Lamb; 8 grandchildren: Logan, Macie, Sophie, Andrew, Hunter, Jackson, Noah and soon-to-arrive Asher; loving mother, Barbara Annette Massey; siblings, Phillip Massey and Jennifer Massey; and her canine “babies,” Bonnie and Vivian Leigh. We rejoice in knowing she is reunited with her beloved father, “Big Daddy,” Joe Massey.
Known as “Precious Lamb” to dear family and friends, and “MeMe” to her eight grandchildren, Jeri fully lived and loved life. She was a high-energy soul who enjoyed tennis, golf, working out and traveling with her husband. She also actively served her community. She loved “the boat life” and spending time with her lake family at Center Hill. Jeri lived her life awake, alive and with a servant’s heart. Her lovely, lively spirit and contagious smile emanated the joy she felt for life. It has been said that “friends are family we get to choose ourselves.” Not only was Jeri the backbone of her family, she was a true friend to all. Our lives are forever impacted for having been known and loved by Jeri.
Visitation will be held at First United Methodist Church, 265 W. Thompson Ln, Murfreesboro, TN on Monday, February 12, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., with a memorial service to follow at 1:00 p.m. You may share in her memory by continuing to support her favorite charities, “Power of Pink” and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
An online guestbook is available for the Lamb family at www.woodfinchapel.com.

Where I live in Michigan, there is a Lamb Road I have to pass, probably 4 times a week. I think of Jeri every time! It's been a long time since I have seen her but I still think of her!! RIP

Memory - Jeri and I went to spent a weekend with Paul and Lucille Allen at their farm. They had a creek on their property where Uncle Paul was clearing trees. Jeri decided to wade in the creek, went down on her bottom and the two us us could not stop laughing. I have very found memories of Jeri - love her so much!!

Bob and Family, though I'm very late in sending my condolences to you and the family, I nevertheless wanted to share my sympathies at your horrendous loss of Jeri. You don't know me, but I was fortunate enough to count Jeri as a friend during our brief two years of band together at MPHS (class of '76). I joined MPHS, incl. the band, in my jr. year of high school -- a transplant from CA (where I'm back living since 2001). Along with many others, Jeri welcomed me into the band and the...
