While I am saddened by the loss of Jerry, I cannot help but smile when I think of him. Dear Jane,

Sid and I were so sorry to learn of Jerry's passing. Though it has been many years since we were last together, we have so many fond memories of him. He was my brother's college roommate and our dear friend. He will certainly be missed by all who knew him. Our sincere condolances to you and his family.

Dear Jane,

Stan Bluestone informed me of Jerry's passing. I am saddened for you and your family. Like me, you will take with you many fond memories.

Jerry was at one time my college roommate at Ohio State and I spent time at his home in Youngstown. I have many memories of our time together. I greatly admired Jerry for all of his accomplishments and for being such a wonderful human being. I regret that we didn't stay more in touch in our later life.
