I am surprised and saddened to hear of Dr Spitz passing. I always felt safe going to his office. He had the bedside manner of those 'ole country doctors'. You will be sorely missed. These condolences are also on behalf of Mr. & Mrs. Amador & Marie Reis, also of Rocky Hill. Regards, Christine M. Reis

Dear Lauren, Danielle, Maren and Warren: Please accept our deepest heartfelt sympathy during this very sad time. Jerry, a kind, friendly man with a great sense of humor will truly be missed. He was my sisters friend, boss, my mothers doctor and a friend of mine. He always treated us like "family" members, not just acquantances. Please know that Jerry, and all of you will hold a special place in our hearts. Our prayers are with you all. Again, with deepest sympathy, Diane and Doris Tanguay

My deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Dr. Spitz. I was doctor's patient for over twenty years. Doctor Spitz made a profound difference in my life. He shared not only his medical wisdom. He shared his life values. I will miss him dearly.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Dr. Spitz’s passing. He was my internist for the past eight years, and I always found him to be a caring and compassionate person, as well as a good listener. I will miss him greatly, and will never forget him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, and also with Carol, his wonderful co-worker who helped create a warm and welcoming environment for all his patients.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Dr. Spitz family and loved ones. This is a sad day indeed as we have lost not only a truly gifted healer, but a kind physician whose presence and words had a way of making you feel better. As a Resident Internist, Dr. Spitz saved my Dad's life and for that I am so grateful. Having the privilege of being his patient, his skill, integrity and quick wit will be greatly missed.
