I fist met Jerry Ackerman at his home with my cousin Claire, his beloved wife of many years. He impressed me with his affable personality and his sophistication. Reading his obituary and understanding his many accomplishments, I am even more impressed. He lived a full century, God bless him! May he Rest In Peace and may his descendants, his children and stepchildren and their children take pride in his example.
