Another Year has passed but the Legacy of Jerry B continues. I think of him often and can't help but bring up his name every time I talk about how I got Sober. Miss you!

Cant believe we are coming up on 13 years !! I think about Jerry often he basically saved my life! My 1st AA meeting was with Jerry and he stayed with me every step of the way for years. He was a friend, Sponsor, and a 2nd Dad. Being ignorant about AA When Jerry took me to my 1st meeting I thought I was all set. He said to me "I will pick you up tomorrow for another meeting". I was shocked cuz I thought I was done again he asks me "How often did you drink" my answer was everyday. "Then we...

Wonderful man and strong in his character miss my friend

Wonderful man I met in February of 1989. I was introduced to him by a mutual friend. That friend was Robert "Bob" Hawkins of Chelmsford Mass who passed away today April 18th 2017. Both of these men were very instrumental in my life and a point of recovery where I could have gone either way. So sorry to hear of Jerry's passing he was my teacher when I was in high school those were the days I stayed in the painting feild for over 20 years and Mr B was always someone I looked up too
