Not sure what to say?

Jerry- you were the principal I always remember as a teacher!

Dear Jerry Boettcher family and especially to our Sis, Julee,

I picture Jerry smiling,
on a cloud,
golf club in hand,
swinging and hitting,
onto another cloud,
a hole in one.
All this done while he glances down at all of you,
Smiling, blessing and witnessing

Mr Boettcher was instrumental in getting the Native American Title 4 program up and running in the Appleton School District. Through this program Native children who were in Appleton were able to learn more about who they were and there culture. He met with my parents a number of times on this matter and made sure that this would happen. He was great man who did great things.

I worked with Jerry for many years with the Appleton Area School District. While often tough, he was generally very kind. He led the district through many epic periods of growth. There was never anyone quite like Jerry, and my memories of work in Appleton will always have room for Mr. Jerome Boettcher.

Ruthe and I extend or love and prayers as we as his family mourn our loss of our beloved brother-in-law. Ruthe and John Harder

My deepest sympathy your loss . My visits to Rennes are going to be so lonely without being able to stop and talk with Jerry.
