He always said, I was his one of his first patients. I loved that guy. He truly cared.

Our sincerest condolences to the family. I've known Jerry since freshman year at Columbia where we were both pre-meds and always respected and admired him although he was always one step ahead of me on the curve when the grades came out!!! Love to all

My heart goes out to Jerry's family. He was a much loved father and husband by his beautiful wife Myerl and children. He will be missed.

I think I was his first patient. What a wonderful person he was. When I went in for my annual physical we would sit and talk as friends before we got down to medical stuff. I think of him often. He will be sorely missed.

You are correct in saying Dr. Botkin was highly respected. I was his patient for several years and he was so caring and thorough. It saddens me to know that he lost his battle with brain cancer. He was a fine man, loved--and was very proud of--his family, and I will always remember what great care he took of me.
