Not sure what to say?

Rest in peace..

I always admired Jerry for wanting the job done right. We had fun times toghether and laughs on a daily basis. Rest in peace.

Car Meets will never be the same. We would talk in his garage as Turbo and Oliver listened. Every time I’d learn something new. He was like the big brother that I always wanted. I will miss him more than words can say.

Jerry was a very detailed guy. He always wanted things done the correct way. I always admired that about him. He and I had very many good discussions, at night on the flight line. Jerry you are in a far better place than any of us now. I am glad you crossed my life.

Jerry's the best of the best! I first met Jerry in March of 1981. I arrived as an ART Aircraft Electician at the 301st. At that time Jerry was in the Electric shop for the F-105's. His first words to me were "Are your Ronnie Hitchner", I said yes and he said "I am so glad you are here, now I can go to the flight line and be a crew chief." What a guy! Jerry I know you are with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God Bless...Ronnie Hitchner (Fort Worth, Tx)

Barbie,

I am saddened for you and your daughters for the loss of your husband and their father. I apologize that I will not be able to attend the Memorial Service today. Please know that you and your girls are in my thoughts and prayers.

I miss you working at Universal as I know the rest of the staff does as well.

Blessing to all of you,
Tammy Wynn
Chaplain at Universal Health Services

Jerry was a great friend and mentor. He taught me a lot. Jerry would always bet a coke on the accuracy of the forms for my jet. He always found something no matter how hard I tried. I paid up several times! One day I finally got it right and he had to pay up. I think he was more proud than I was. Thanks for making me a better Airman Jerry! Sean Gouge

One super roomie on TDY's always had to have his Oreos and coffee. Will miss him.
