I was one of Jerry’s tennis starlets in Chatham. I have many many good memories of those years and because we were also both from West Hartford, we saw each other there as well. He was kind, fun, genuinely interested in others. Several years ago, we went on an eagle watch on the Connecticut River. It was freezing cold but the trip was filled with laughter and great conversation. I will miss Jerry. He was one of a kind. My deepest sympathy to his family.

I met Jerry many times. He and my father, Carl Dane, were IBM typewriter salesmen in Hartford for many years. I remember Jerry as kind man.
