Not sure what to say?

Several years ago, I had the privilege of meeting Mr. (Judge) Catanzaro in my capacity as Court Administrator for Judge Harcha in both Municipal and Common Pleas Courts in Portsmouth, Scioto County Ohio. What stands out to me is that he always had a smile on his face and appeared to be a happy and genuine man. I'll lift a prayer for his family for strength and peace.

Sad to read this in the PDT about the judge. Good man who was kind enough to come to my school at Western Pike and speak to the youth about the juvenile court system and life in general. God Bless the family at this difficult time and continue to enjoy the memories of this man and his life.

Our thoughts are with your family at this most difficult time. Judge Catanzaro was a Judge that understood the law and applied common sense, to situations that required reasonableness given the events at the time. We have thought about him and talked about him this week. He truly will be missed. ---Benson & Sesser.

Jerry officiated my wedding last year. A very small number and Jerry made us feel so special

I was raised in Cheviot with Jerry and I also became a Common Pleas Court Judge. I´ll always remember that whenever I played baseball or basketball against Jerry he always had a smile on his face. He and my cousin, Dr. Peter Ruehlman were the smartest kids in St Martin´s Parish. I, on the other hand , was always goofing off rather than studying. In fact, on our first day at UC Jerry had that same big smile on his face and said, "hey Bobby what are you doing here"? I´ll miss talking baseball...

In 1977, I bought a 3 speed Chevette from McCallister Chevrolet in Chillicothe, Ohio. I didn't know how to drive a standard, so Jerry drove it home for me and taught me to drive it. Such a great guy.
