Jerome "Jay" Gieschen

I am sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Jay was a great friend from first grade until he left for Barstow. I think his house was the first overnight stay I had in the first or second grade. When he stayed with me on the farm in the fourth or fifth grade he went home with a big goose egg on his head. Candy and I look back when our families were close and spent a lot of good times together. We did a lot of eating, laughing, playing games, and shutting the bull (the adults). Us kids just had a lot of fun together. I remember when Rachael got a doctors kit and we played doctor and nurse on Jay. That was fun!!

Jay was there when ever anyone needed help with things especially helping to cook Holiday dinners, I couldn't of made it through all those dinners without you there by my side. Our family consider you as one of us even though we knew you had your own family and your thoughts were always of them. Jay, you fought an brave battle and was an inspiration to all around you. Gieschen Family and Marsha: I was very sorrowful when I heard of Jay's death. Before our father's death, Eddie Klein, I had the opportunity to meet Jay and always thought highly of him. I truly feel for your loss and my prayers are with you all.
