Not sure what to say?

I met Jerome and Nancy at Fairchild AFB in the late 80´s during a POW remembrance. I had the honor to sit at their table and we became friends. They were both so friendly. Rest Easy Jerome and Thank you for your servic.

I was honored to have known Jerry while I was Director at the Spokane VA Medical Center. It was truly a privilege having known Jerry and hearing about his years in the service. He was humble, had a good sense of humor, was a good friend to so...many (especially his fellow Ex-POWs), and loved his family dearly. He will forever be missed by his gift of sacrifice as a veteran and his gift of friendship. We are forever indebted to what he endured as a Prison of War. We are forever grateful...

My family was neighbors with the Gleesings in the late fifties and early sixties in Mount Vernon. Jerome and Nancy continued to stay in touch with my mom after all these years, my dad passed in 1992, and I know that my parents always loved hearing from them and cherished the long distance friendship they continued to have after so many years. The Von Moos family sends its condolences and wishes Nancy and the family well.

Nancy and the Gleesing Family, I hope your memories bring you comfort as you go through this time of loss. Jerry and Nancy visited the Spokane Valley Heritage Museum numerous times and donated several items. Jerry helped with our WWII exhibit and I was impressed with how gracious and kind he was. He was very devoted to Nancy and his family and I truly enjoyed visiting with them both.

Mr. Gleesing was a very special man and a fantastic neighbor to my mom for nearly 30 years. He also befriended my children. He was a kind friend, neighbor and a terrific role model. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family. We were honored to know him.

Nancy, I was so sad to hear of Jerry's passing. A great hero has gone home to our Lord.

This is truly a sad time. Uncle Gerome, you will be missed. Remember that life does go on and the Gleesing family name will too. From Grandpa Pete on down, the Gleesing legacy will live on. My prayers are will you all.

My thoughts are will all of you, Gleesings. What a gracious man Mr. Gleesing is, now, as he intercedes for us at the throne of our Heavenly father, and His son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in whom we are redeemed when we accept Him as our personal Lord and Saviour.

Glessings--We are sorry Jerry is leaving us but his spirit and the wonderful memories we have, will remain with us. I especially loved golfing with Jerry and Vi says, Jerry had the most wonderful velvet smooth singing voice she had ever heard! We love. God Bless, Don & Vi Mutch, Sun City, AZ.
