Other survivors include his mother, Petra Florez Lucero, also of Las Cruces; a brother, John Armijo of Oklahoma; four sisters: Debra Lucero, Tanya Parson and husband, Randy, all of Las Cruces, Betty Ortega of Moriarty, and Rita Armijo of California; as well as eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Pamela and Emma Jean Lucero; and granddaughter, Allessandra Richardson.
