MR. JEROME HARDY

STEPHENS CHAPEL FUNERAL SERVICES; FUNERAL................11 AM TUESDAY, MAY 26, 2015 AT BEATLINE BAPTIST CHURCH; INTERMENT............CHURCH CEMETERY; Funeral services for Mr. Jerome Hardy will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Beatline Baptist Church with Rev. Ben McDaniel officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Monday, May 25, 2015 at the funeral home. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services is in charge. Mr. Hardy, 77, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Neshoba County General Hospital. He lived in the Beatline Community all of his life where he was a farmer and entrepreneur in manufacturing. His hobbies include travelling, camping & Mississippi State men's basketball. Mr. Hardy was a member of East Mississippi Farmers Livestock Association where he served on the board. He was a member of Beatline Baptist Church where he served as deacon, church treasurer and also taught Sunday school. Mr. Hardy was preceded in death by his parents, William Banks Hardy & Iva Mae Smith Hardy. Survivors are his wife of 57 years, Margaret Morehead Hardy of Phila, MS; (2) daughters, Janet Moore & her husband, Frank of Destin, FL & Linda Griffis & her husband, Bill of Phila, MS; sister, Jacquleyn Hendrix of Hattiesburg, MS & Glenda Hardy of Phila, MS; (5) grandchildren, Michele Lyons, Wright Griffis, Addison Griffis, Rachel Roberts & Rebecca Brill; (5) great-grandchildren, Maggie Lee Griffis, Sanders Griffis, Laney Griffis, Nick Lyons & Olivia Lyons; several nieces & nephews. Pallbearers are Rocky Harrison, Greg Caldwell, Bill Bates, Alain Kabore, Danny Cain, Kenny Partridge, Kenny Pierce. Honorary pallbearers are Odell Sharp, Jimmy Rogers & early morning group at House Grocery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Gideons International & Happiness Hill Christian Home & Academy.
