Not sure what to say?

So sorry for your loss. The Hodar and Ruck families always seemed much closer than cousins, especially since the Ruck family moved from Cleveland to Elyria in the 1950's. They were always at every first communion, graduation, and wedding. Jerry and Kay always had such genuine smiles when you would see them. Prayers for all of you at this difficult time.

The Lord's blessings to all the Hodar's, Berila's, Cook's cousins and families. So many wonderful memories of our family get togethers.

.

I first met Jerry in 1961 when we were both US Army second lieutenants living in the BOQ, South Post, Fort Meyer, VA.
Our friendship started there and continued to the present. Kay and my fiance, now wife, met during that time when the two of them visited us for a weekend. Over the years, the four of us met a few times, either in Cleveland orBaltimore. But without visits, Jerry's and my relationship continued with frequent phone calls. I will miss him very much. He was a dear...

Sweeney family,
Your Dad was a prince of a man! I was actively involved with your wonderful Mom and Dad @St Pats Renewal program. Your family is in my prayers For your loss . God Bless

Jerry, Ric BreJ, Mike. Bernatowich were the Ridge Road/Old Brooklynn mafia that allowed a son of the southeast like me into their inner sanctum at JCU. We brown baggers stuck together thru four years and then went separate ways out of ROTC to posting in the military. He was one of the most upbeat, honest and gentlemanly person I ever knew. Jerry was one of the groomsmen in my wedding and then we lost touch. One of my regrets is that I never sought to get in touch with him over the years. ...

Maureen, Tom, Mark and Katsie,
I was heartbroken to hear about Jerry. He was a true mentor to me and I have years and years of wonderful memories of your Dad. Loved him. I'm so sorry for all of you, but I take comfort knowing he is back with his 'bride'. I loved how he always called Kay that. My deepest sympathy to all of you. He loved his family more than anything in this world.
