It's been years and today it feels like....I was just laughing with you on the boat. My grief took hold but I was able to stand up and help others to do the same. You paved the way for me in all things and your love with guidance is not different. Your grandsons and I will keep the legacy of care, empathy and compassion with family and friends going. Once ready and needed I will look forward to holding your hand again. Love you daddy.

I didn't see Jerry very often, but when we connected it was as if we were still close friends. I will miss him. My condolences to the family.
