Jerome Leonard

I only knew Jerry as my grandfather by blood, I didn't get much of a chance to get to know him as I became an adult but I loved him just the same. I take to heart that other people had fond memories of him. I know my dad (Jim) loved him very much, so with these days we are without him I pray that he is in nomore pain and is finally at rest.

Jerry was an important member of the YWCA staff. His talent for keeping the building in great shape was admired by staff and members alike. I remember Jerry bringing in vegetables from his garden for everyone to share. He was liked by everyone and treated everyone with respect.

Jerry worked at the YWCA of Bay County as maintaince man for several years. I am/was director of YWCA Camp Meadows, a day summer camp for special needs children. Jerry would always make sure that I/we had everything that we needed to help make the special needs children's camp go smoothly so that they could enjoy themselves. Jerry was a special person in my book! - A wonderful, caring gentleman! When I think of Jerry, I smile and think of so many things he taught me! May God Bless His Soul...
