Jerome “Jake” Liptak, age 83, passed away peacefully on January 27th 2021. Born December 31st, 1937 in Youngstown Ohio. Beloved son of the late Michael Sr. and Ann (Ryzner). Loving brother to Mike Jr. (Marvine), Carol Campbell (Billy, deceased), and Larry. Uncle, great uncle, great great uncle, and friend to many.

Jake loved sharing stories of growing up on the farm. He maintained many of his childhood friendships throughout his entire life.

As one of the founding brothers of ALL Erection & Crane Rental Corp Jake spent many years operating a Galion cherry-picker crane in the steel mills of Cleveland. Known for his cheery disposition and hard work ethic, Jake was admired by everyone who had an opportunity to meet him. After years of being in the operator engineer’s union, Jake continued his love for equipment and construction by attending auctions and scrapping metal. Jake was fearless and creative when it came to his work.

Many will remember his generous and kind heart. His smile and sense of humor will be greatly missed.

In honor of Jake’s memory donations can be made to RAHAB Ministries PO Box 13866 Akron, OH 44334-3866

Not sure what to say?

I just read about Jake's passing and immediately wanted to reach out to the entire Liptak family to extend my sincerest condolences. He was one of the kindest, most gentle people I've ever known. Always smiling and joking, and so very generous. He was a great man and I have the fondest memories of him. God bless.

So sorry for your loss.

Jake was a great friend. He was one of the most unassuming persons I have ever known. Lou Suisi and I loved going to auctions with him and competing as to who would pay the dinner check afterwards. He loved talking about his parents farm and the love of square dancing as a young man. My wife, Debby, and I shall dearly miss him. Good bye Jake.
I already paid the server. I love you, Man.

Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. It was an absolute joy to have known Jake!

Sorry for your Loss may the God of comfort be with you and your family at this time Act 24 15
