Not sure what to say?

Dear Marilyn and Family,
Please accept my condolences in the loss of Jerry. I have many good memories of him as my predecessor as OPA President. He was a wonderful, kind and patient mentor. Remember the "forced march" he and Phil Workman made around Ohio. Jerry was so determined to involve everyone.

Jerry was one of the good guys. We will all miss him but will cherish his legacy.

Sincerely,
Bernie Foster

Marilyn and Family,
Jerry was a strong and persistent advocate for psychiatry. I remember fondly our rooming together on the APA trip to China. He knew a great deal about Chinese philosophy and culture. We had fun and learned a lot. My best to you, Marilyn, at this time of loss.

With sympathy to Dr. Logan's Family,
I was very saddened to hear about the passing of Dr. Logan. As a new OT graduate, he supported me in my caring for his patients at St. E's and I had the pleasure of later working in his office. Today I shared with family and co-workers my wonderful memories of working with him. He was a physician who was truly down to earth and compassionate toward his patients and other staff. I know he loved his family very much. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Jerry was an excellent psychiatrist
and was a leader in Ohio psychiatry.
I remember his many contributions to
our field. He was a good friend since
our days at Saint Louis U. My sincere
condolences to Marilyn and family.
Sorry I can not be with you at this
time. But you will be in my prayers.

Will miss Jerry - a true friend - many great times at Bethesda Naval Hospital as residents together and in Charleston/PI and at the annual APA meetings. I fondly recall a memorable lunch at Square One, San Francisco with a lot of fine wine. I am grateful to have known him. My prayers are with him and his famiily.
