Not sure what to say?

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always. If "Jerry" hadn't stayed on me about bettering myself after my divorce, I never could have survived life without his coaching. I love you Grace and the boys.

Grace and Family, I'm thinking of you and your sons today and tomorrow will be 4 years since Jerome "Jerry" went home to be with the Lord. Wishing you peace, comfort, courage, and lots of love at this time on the anniversary of your loss.

Quiet gentle man with a great sense of humor. Condolences to his family.

I am saddened to read of Jerrys passing. I lived on Washington Street with Jerry and we were in the same class at St. Johns. He was a great classmate and always a fun person who brought joy into our lives.

Sad to hear about the loss of Jerry. I have known Jerry since Kindergarten. We went to Saint John's School in New Bedford, Mass. where we graduated 8th grade in1962. We also graduated from New Bedford High School in 1966. We were good friends and had many fun times together. Jerry was a real fine person. He always had a smile on his face. He made me laugh all the time. Although we lost touch over the years I will forever remember him. We use to call each other "cousin". I will see you again...

Jerry I am saddened by your loss. I was blessed to have had contact with you during your last days . I wish we had not allowed distance to interrupt our relationship. I am blessed for the many memories I now have. I am so glad you were able to see your oldest son Jay marry Stacey and the birth of your grandson Jacob. I know you were proud of Nicks culinary skills. You were blessed to have had Grace by your side for 42 years. You have left your imprint on the City of New Orleans. " You have...

I have fond memories of Jerry growing up. His family lived across the street from us on Washington St, he had a boxer named Buster. We all thought of Jerry as our big cousin'. My love and prayers to all his family.Joy Rucker and family

Jerry, my great friend from as far back as I can remember. You will be sorely missed. Rest easy dear friend. Billy
