As a Girl Scout leader I called Mr. Osborne and he was more than willing to loan us trucks for the Girl Scout's July 4th parade floats. I've loved looking for new foals every spring across the street and I think of him everyday. I wished I would have told him how lucky I've been to have such a kind neighbor. Years ago, before the widening of Center St, he pulled his truck over & scolded me for taking my daily walks on such a dangerous, narrow road. He really cared about those little things.
Jerry and my dad were dock buddies at MHYC and I have such fond memories of his cute smile, and laughter when they would commiserate...
