Jerome J. Rivers

Jerry was married to my sister Joan and I knew him for many, many years. He was devastated when Joan died so young and I don't think he ever got over it. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother-in-law and he will be missed by those that loved him.

I am an old Air Force buddy of Wayne's and only had the chance to meet his Dad on a couple of occasions. But just by meeting him those couple of times I could tell he was a very intelligent and caring man.

Robin and my thoughts and prayers go out to all his family and friends at this difficult time.

I met your father thru the friendship of Ron and Roberta Yeager. I also was able to actually meet your dad two years ago when I came to visit and had dinner with him and some other friends at the VFW.

Like Lourdes, I also got to know him thru the internet, thanks to the antics of Ron Yeager.

I wanted to offer my condolenses and to let you know that your Dad had some interesting friends who cared about him.

Your father was a very sweet man. The last several years we didn't hear from him very often, but we tried to keep up with him because we knew he was ill. The internet/email can be a powerful tool to meet new and interesting people and I'm very grateful for having "met" your father. Bless you and may loving memories help you during this time.
