Not sure what to say?

University of Alabama and ZBT connection. My condolences on your loss.

I have two fond memories to share - I worked for Harold Blach in college - he and Jerry were best friends and fraternity brothers - I went on to work for two major dept stores but wanted to come home - I interviewed with Jerry as Mens Clothing Buyer at Lovemans - when I sat down with him he told me " Mr Blach says you are a fine young man, you are hired" ! What an endorsement! I took the job in 1977 - having worked for two major dept stores I had big usage experience. So I found a three piece...

I can picture Jerry talking to Ted Williams about hitting. Rest in peace, my friend.

Offering my condolences to the Sklar family. Sorry for your loss. May you find peace in God during this time of bereavement.

I knew Mr. Sklar in the early `70s at Lovemans. A dapper appearance and a gait that spoke of authority. Always magnetic and greeted everyone. Some years ago I called out to him on the sidewalk in Crestline. Promising to get together over coffee I regret we never did. My loss as who else could shed light on days long ago. The handful of times I would see you Jean over the years I always left smiling. A perfect companion to Jerry with your equal charm.

50 years ago Jerry was VP at Loveman´s, where I managed two departments. 25 years ago I was wandering through the parking deck at St. Vincent´s and Jerry asked me if I needed any help. He drove me around until my car was located. I always enjoyed seeing Jerry, Jean, and Brad! Great memories.
