I've loved you since you became part of our "family" when you first came to Central and kept the baseball scorebook for Steve some forty years ago. You were the coolest nun we ever knew, and the only one who ever sent us inappropriate cards! (No more opening our cards over the garbage can!) There's too many things to mention how much we will miss you in our lives. Right now our whole family, (Steve most especially) are walking around with a big hole in our hearts. You will forever be...

Sister Jerome,
I remember the first day I met you. My dad had just become principal at CCHS and we attended the faculty picnic at Oaks Park. We road the rollercoaster together. You laughing the whole time. Me screaming wondering how you managed to talk me into this. But what I remember the most was your dedication to every student that walked through the doors of Central Catholic ( me included). Now take your rest dear Sister Jerome.

Sister Jerome,
Thank you for being such a good mentor and friend to my son while he coached at CC. Because of you, he still makes sure he has a Tootsie Pop right before each game that he coaches, and I know that, as she gets older, his little daughter will make sure she follows suit before daddy's games. You are an inspiration and will be missed a great deal.

Thank you Sister Jerome for your kind heart, you quick wit, your laughter and jokes, your knowledge of the best books, your recipes, your wisdom about life, your valued opinions. I am blessed to call you my friend. I will miss our chats. You were a gift to many and I thank you for being a part of my life over the last 10 years. Rest In Peace Sister.

Godspeed Cousin Carol. We were the two cousins who were the same age, but miles apart. Tell Father Bonnie (Jerry) hello from the cousins in SD.

Love you, Sr. Jerome. You were a wonderful colleague to me at Central, and have remained a good friend ever since. Thank you for the gifts you gave to all of us. Rest in peace: I can hear you laughing in Heaven.
