Not sure what to say?

I STILL miss Daddy SO much! If heaven weren't so far away . . .

Dearest Betty,
My prayers and positive thoughts are with you. I have fond memories of my dear neighbors.
My love,
Sonia Easley

Jerrel Gaddy was a mentor, friend, colleague, and at times a "dad" to me as he trained me and I worked with him in Dallas. He was a very generous person and is one of three people in my life who empowered me to become a whole person and make a contribution to society. His wisdom and humor gifted me caring ways and taught me how to embrace daily joy. As a pastor, therapist, and consultant, as well as a husband and father and grandfather, I have valued all that Jerrel taught me not only by...

Bro. Gaddy is such a big part of my childhood memories! The time I spent at his house growing up with his daughter, Sherri, was so special! They had the greatest midnight snacks.....real ice cream shakes!! He baptized me at the age of 12 at Cockrell Hill Baptist Church. He was always so kind and gentle and easy to talk to! I am so glad to have been touched by his life in such a positive way. My love and prayers go out to his family.

Daddy, I miss you. If heaven weren't so far away . . .

Bro.Gaddy, will be greatly missed,he was my pastor at Cockrell Hill, his sermons would always inspire us,prayers for the family.

"To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" 2 Corinthians 5:8.....Mrs. Gaddy was my first grade teacher in 1966 and I will always have fond memories of Mr. & Mrs. Gaddy taking me and a few of our classmates out sailing on their boat. I am saddened to hear of Mr. Gaddy's passing and will continuously be prayerful for Mrs. Gaddy and family. God be with you all during this very sorrowful time.

I dreamed last night that a young man came to me and inquired, Lin, When do you know it's over?" I woke and wondered whom was this learned man. After documenting the bible opened to Mark 1... After a while mother phoned, Jerrel passed. "I loved himso. he was my freind and confidant."

We will miss Jerrel. What a wise and wonderful person. I loved to hear his stories and see his wonderful photography. We were so fortunate to reconnect with him and Betty when we lived in Virginia and then when they stayed with us here in Tennessee. He has blessed so many lives. It's such a priviledge to have known him. We will always vaule his friendship and he will have a special place in our hearts! Love you.......Richard & Paula
